2025 Spring Campout

• The Spring Campout for 2025 is going to be on Saturday May 17 through Sunday May 18, 2025.

• Rain or Shine.

• Plan to arrive at noon on Saturday to start setting up camp.

• Sunday activities usually finish up by 11 am, unless you need to leave earlier.

• At least one parent/guardian of each Scout must be present at the campout at all times.

• All immediate family members are invited to attend as well as sleep over if they choose (parents, guardians, siblings, etc)

• Each family unit should bring a tent and all appropriate camping gear with them. If you have any questions as to what you should bring, please reach out to your Den leaders or post a message in the Line App.

• Location:

Goshen Pond Campground - Wharton State Forest

Site location: Campsite A

• Activities will include:

• Pack Meeting

• Nature Hike

• Campfire (weather pending and if allowed)

• Dinner, Breakfast, and drink provided

• Other activities may be scheduled as well such as:

  • Team-building Games

  • Skits

  • Camp Cooking lessons/demonstrations

  • Map Reading/Compass use or other learning activity TBD

• NOTE:

  • New Jersey is currently at an elevated risk for the spread of wildfires. The “Fire Danger Rating” is currently at HIGH; however there are currently no campfire restrictions in effect as of April 21, 2025. Pack leaders will continue to monitor up until the date of the campout.

• Cost:

• The cost for the campout is PER PERSON (Adults and Scouts/siblings)

• Fee covers the cost of the campsite, food/beverages, and activities.

• The cost is $10 per person with the maximum amount of $30 per family.

• If you have four or more people attending, please purchase three tickets here for $30 and then during checkout list the names of everyone attending so that we can have an accurate count.
